Where: He was born in the castle of Tintagel on the northern coast on Cornwall, England. He grew up not in the castle but only in a normal house with Sir Ector.
When: During the 6th century when England was in a battle with the Saxon warriors. However there is now actual proof of him living. All we know for sure is that there was a king at this time and his name may or may not have been Arthur.
Whom: He was the blood son of Uther Pendragon and Lady Igraine. He was raised by Sir Ector. This was because his father had died. When he was raised by Sir Ector he became half brother to Sir Kay. He was also Sir Kay's squire. Arthur was the blood brother of Morgan Le Fey, Elaine (Blasine), and Mogawse. He was married to Guinevere and was the father of Mordred.
Day of the Dual: On the day when knights from all around were having many duals young Arthur was busy helping Sir Kay. During one of Sir Kay's fights his sword broke from the handle. Arthur being a good squire rushed to get him another sword. He was in front of the church when he saw a beautiful sword in an anvil. He walked towards it then gently pulled it out and ran to Sir Kay. When he handed Sir Kay the sword he got a shocked look on his face. Sir Kay then took the sword to Sir Ector back at their camp. They both knew this was the sword from the stone that only the next king and true son of Uther Pendragon could pull out. Niether beleived that little Arthur had done this or was this person. All of them then went back to the churchyard.Sir Kay went to put the sword back in the anvil, but each time he tried to foce it in it wouldn't go. Arthur took the sword and easily slid the sword back in. He then slid it easily back out and then back in. More lords and knight were to test their skill by trying to pull this sword out so they had Arthur leave it there.
The Day After the Dual: Kings lined up to try thier hand at this bewitched sword. They were followed by many Lords then Knights. After everyone had taken a turn and none had managed to pull the sword young Arthur went to try. None believed he could do any better than they had. He stepped up and again easily pulled the sword out. Some didn't belive ,still, so he put it back in the anvil and pulled it out once more. He was pronounced by the priest king. Some knight chose to follow and trust him. Others refused ,though.
King Arthur right after being crowned.
Conclusion: Even though Arthur had no clue he was true son of Uther Pendragon some had. Sir Ector knew this was his fate. When Arthur was just a baby his father died and he was taken to live with Sir Ector. Upon his fathers death this sword had a spell cast upon it, by Merlin, and was placed in the anvil. The spell stated that the only person that could remove the sword was true son of King Uther. This is why Arthur became King Arthur.
